In 2006, Hubbell, Inc. purchased the POLYCAST® trench drain line from Strongwell Lenoir City, Inc., adding the company to its Power Systems segment and branching the company into another market.

POLYCAST® Pre-sloped Trench Drain Systems are available for a variety of applications ranging from residential and commercial to industrial and transportation. The majority of the POLYCAST® products (POLYCAST® 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900) are made of polymer concrete, a high strength material that is chemical resistant and that absorbs less than 1% water. One product line, POLYCAST® 3000, is a high capacity drainage system made from pultruded fiberglass.
