In 2006, Hubbell, Inc. purchased the POLYCAST® trench drain line from Strongwell Lenoir City, Inc., adding the polymer concrete trench drain company to its Power Systems segment and launching itself into a new market.

POLYCAST® Pre-sloped Trench Drain Systems are specified for residential driveways, sidewalks as well as a range of commercial, industrial and transportation drainage applications.  Most POLYCAST® products (POLYCAST® 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900) are made of polymer concrete, a high strength material that is chemical resistant and that absorbs less than 1% water. The heavy duty POLYCAST® 3000, FP0800 and FP1200 series are high capacity drainage systems made from fiberglass.
