Josam Trench Drain Products
Josam is a leader in the manufacturing of drainage products in the United States. They specialize in cast iron drainage products such as floor drains, cleanouts, trench drains, sanitary floor sinks and grease traps. Among the trench drain products Josam manufactures are the Super-Flo 6” wide and 12” wide modular cast iron trench drain systems and 12” wide grate and frame systems.
Josam Frame and Grate Products
Josam has three 12” wide frame and grate systems that are rated for light, medium and heavy duty applications. Each system gives you a selection of two framing options: a single grate frame perimeter or parallel framing bars that would be used for making an extended trench drain. Other impressive options include a satin finish Nikaloy top and stainless steel frame, ductile Iron grating, bronze grates with satin finish and secured grating with vandal-proof screws and galvanizing. The grate sizing options are limited with the Josam grates, but the quality of the options is un-matched by others. The models and sizes are reported below, along with links to the cut sheets.
Light Duty (76300) – 12” x 20” x 5/8 thick grating, grate slot dimensions are ½” x 5”
Medium Duty (76500) – 12” x 24” x 1 ¼” thick grating, grate slot dimensions are ½” x 4-3/8”
Heavy Duty (76700) - 12” x 24” x 1 ¼” thick grating, grate slot dimensions are 1 ½” x 4-1/4”
Josam Super-Flo Products
Josam’s Super-Flo trench drain products are available in 6” wide (model 76000) and 12” wide (model 76010). These modular cast iron drains are used in heavy traffic areas where long, continuous trench drain can serve as a temporary reservoir for surface run-off water. The coated cast iron rectangular body sections are heavy duty and have an integral flange. Grates and dome strainers sit loosely in the frame or bottom outlet.
Grating options include satin finish Nikaloy, satin finish bronze, ductile iron, vandal-proof screws and galvanized cast iron. Clamping devices are also available for the drain flange.
