Mea-Josam
Mea-Group is a well-known construction and drainage supplier that was founded during the 1880s in Europe. Josam is an American manufacturer of drainage products that has been in business for almost 100 years. Both companies have established trench drain product lines. In 1995, the Mea-Group extended marketing rights of the Mea trench drain product line to Josam.
Today, the Mea-Josam product line is well known across the United States. The Meadrain products are at the core of the Mea-Josam product offering. These polymer concrete channels come in 4”, 6”, 8” and 12” widths and are available with various integral metal channel edging and sloping styles. Grating options are broad and cover a multitude of commercial and industrial applications.
Mea-Josam has recently rolled out the Pro-Plus product line, which is touted as being the next generation of trench drain materials. The glass-reinforced polyester used to make the Pro-Plus line has physical properties that are said to be superior to all other trench drain properties on the market today. The same grating options available in their polymer concrete lines are present in the Pro-Plus line.
Josam still maintains a small cast iron trench drain offering, which is a common product for heavy industrial applications. Their 12” wide trench drain grating system and their Super-Flo product lines are durable and have unique grating styles. The Josam Company is headquartered in Michigan City, Indiana. They were founded in 1950. They are a family owned and operated. Josam has manufacturing facilities in Michigan City, Indiana and warehouse facilities in Philadelphia, PA and San Lorenzo, CA.
