Perma-Trench
Perma-Trench Series is the most widely used trench drain product offered by Zurn. The channel is constructed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). HDPE is an impact resistant, lightweight material with a low water absorption that makes it ideal for trench drain applications.
In addition, HDPE channels are extremely resistant to acids, alcohols and bases. Its ability to withstand the attack of industrial chemicals and cleaners allows it to be effectively sterilized and, therefore, makes it an ideal material choice for laboratory applications.
Z880 Perma-Trench Series
The Z880 Series is a narrow, 2.5" wide system that is a popular aesthetic choice for residential applications such as sidewalks, patios, decks and pools. Z880 offers both channel and grates in a variety of colors (white, gray, black, brick red, sand, sky blue); the duel coloring eliminates the typical edge line between grate and concrete seen in other systems and offers an overall prettier appearance.
The Z880 features "ribs" extending from the outer walls to give the channel extra surface area. The additional grip not only stabilizes the system during installation but strengthens its integrity, allowing it to stay in use longer than similar drains.

Z883 Perma-Trench Series
The Z883 is Perma-Trench's low profile version of the Z886 drainage system. At 3.5" deep, the Z883 Series features 1m (40") channel lengths at a neutral slope. The lightweight HDPE material has a smooth surface that does not absorb water and handles it with less friction than other systems. The Z883 is more capable of weathering environmental stressors than similar systems by other manufacturers.
This product utilizes the same grates as Z886, offering ADA, H-20 and FAA load classifications. Unlike its sister system, the Z883 is better used in sidewalks, kitchens, pools, residential applications or any projects with depth restrictions.

Z884 Perma-Trench Series
The Z884 is a 4.75" wide light-traffic drainage system made from high density polyethylene (HDPE). The lightweight HDPE material ensures a smooth surface that handles water more efficiently and is more capable of weathering environmental stressors than other systems.
With a 3.25" open throat and a neutral-sloped 2.875" deep channel, the Z884 is made for applications such as decks, patios and walkways that have depth restrictions but still need efficient water drainage. Its 2" end outlets and 3" bottom outlets give the Z884 system design flexibility that extends its usefulness in large projects.
Z884 features "ribs" that give the system additional surface area and strengthen its grip on concrete during installation. Integral clips hold rebar stakes, allowing the drain's invert to be easily adjusted prior to installation. To see Z884 features, click here.
The system offers 4.125" wide grates in seven designs ranging from heel-proof plastic to slotted cast iron.

Z886 Perma-Trench Series

The 6" wide Z886 is the most popular Perma-Trench system. At 6.25" x 80", the Z886's HDPE channels are manufactured in longer sections than other commercial drainage systems, which allows runs to be assembled with fewer components. With a .75 percent slope and a radius-bottom, the Z886 channels are virtually self-cleaning; the smooth channel surface reduces friction, allowing more efficient drainage and less debris build-up.

Z882 Perma-Trench Series
The 12" wide Z882 is one of the most popular Perma-Trench products. Used in heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications, the Z882 Series is a flexible trench drain system designed to accommodate a number of high-volume drainage applications.
This system is composed of HDPE pre-sloped (1.04%) channels with a broad range of grating options that meet ADA, FAA and H-20 load requirements. The channels have interlocking ends and radiused bottoms to make installation easier. The HDPE material presents a smooth surface that handles water efficiently; with no water absorption, the Z882 is well-equipped to freeze-thaw and other environmental stressors.

Z874 Perma-Trench Series
For wide trench drain and utility trench applications, try the Z874 series of products. Z874 pre-sloped trench drains range in widths from 12” to 21” and can reach depths up to 36”. No other plastic product on the market can do that!!
Similarly, the Z874 utility trenches are available with throat opening ranging from 12” to 28”. They are able to be made with channel depth of up to 30”. Trench covers can be made with light duty aluminum, steel or heavy duty ductile iron.

Flo-Thru
The Zurn Flo-Thru Series offers two fiberglass trench drain systems, the Z806 and Z812. Flo-Thru Series products are light weight, durable and easy to install. The chemical resistance of the FRP body makes Flo-Thru a good selection for kitchens, food processing facilities and chemical plants. However, they are also great for use in standard driveway, parking lot and commercial applications.
Z806 Flo-Thru Series
Zurn's Z806 is a 6" wide channel system supplied in 10 foot long sections. The longer channel lengths mean there are fewer components to assemble, which allows for faster installation times. Z806 sidewall extensions and neutral channels can extend each run to 190 feet.
The Z806 system features end, bottom and side outlets in 2", 3", 4" and 6" diameters. Bottom outlets can be placed anywhere along the channel. Z812 Flo-Thru Series
Zurn's Z812 is a 12" fiberglass system used in chemical plants, food processing facilities and other industrial applications. The Z812 Series is a durable trench drain system capable of weathering caustic drainage applications.
The system uses mechanical overlapping connections to join the fiberglass channels together. Z812 features a 1.04 percent slope and radiused channel bottoms, which prevent debris buildup and allow for smoother water flow to the drain outlet.
The Z812 system uses the same range of 11.25" grate options as the Z882 Perma-Trench Series. The Z812 grates are available in a variety of materials to meet ADA and FAA load requirements, including cast iron grates and stainless steel bar grating. Z817 Flo-Thru Catch Basins
Zurn's Z817 fiberglass bodied catch basins work with the Z806 and Z812 trench drain systems and are available in 6", 12" and 24" widths. The 6" wide Z817 is an in-line basin that gives the appearance of a continuous drainage run; the catch basin and trench channel are bolted together and caulked to connect the sections. The 12" and 24" catch basins, capable of being used with both the Z806 and the Z812, use an external trench adapter to make the connection from trench drain channel to catch basin.

Sani-Flo Series
The Sani-Flo trench drain series is Zurn’s stainless steel bodied product line. It is perfect for applications like laboratories and commercial food preparation areas that require high corrosion and chemical resistance. The high chromium content of the stainless steel creates a boundary against rust when exposed to oxygen, which makes it able to withstand strong chemicals and sterilizing treatments. Stainless steel is a perfect material for drainage products in highly sanitary applications.
The Sani-Flo Series has three system options:
- Zurn Z890 is a 6” pre-sloped stainless steel system with a variety of grating options that support light to heavy traffic, reinforcing the seamless channel to a Class F load rating strong enough for airplanes.
- Zurn Z895 is a 12” pre-sloped system offering higher flow rates than its 6” partner while maintaining its smooth construction. The Z895 offers inverts as deep as 18.5” and load class options comparable to the Z890.
- Z891 is Zurn’s smallest stainless steel drain, a 2.75” wide slot drain system. It is available in neutral or pre-sloped form, has 5’ modular sections and channel inverts running as deep as 16.5”. The ¾” wide slot makes it perfect for use in drainage applications which require chemical resistance and an inconspicuous grate.
- Z897 is Zurn's stainless steel catch basin offering within the Sani-Flo product line. Steel catch basins come in 6", 12" and 24" widths and have grating meeting H-20, FAA and/or ADA compliance requirements. Catch basins connect to the Z890 and Z895 drains.

Frame-and-grate Series
Zurn’s Z700 Frame-and-Grate Series is a trench drain system for those who want to build their own channel but still have a wide choice of channel widths. The Z700 series give you a choice of 8 frame widths that come in “easy to set” 10 foot lengths. Choose between 6”, 12”, 17”, 20”, 24”, and 26” wide frames. The frames are made from Dura-Coated carbon steel angle and include concrete anchoring tabs. The Z700 series is supplied with a ductile iron slotted grate, which is designed to be bolted to the frame. Though a Class C rated grate is standard with his system, other grating options are available.
Zurn Frame-and-Grate Series also has 6” and 12” extra heavy-duty models, regularly equipped with Class C grating but capable of achieving Class F. Numerous grating options are available for both models to provide a range of load classes for a diversity in applications.

Zurn Hi-Cap Slot Drains
Zurn’s Z888 Hi-Cap Slot drains are designed for transportation applications that require high flow capacities, such as airports and highways. The channels are constructed from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), a less dense type of polyethylene that is used to make trench drain channels. Hi-Cap channels are chemically resistant, sturdy and lightweight. Built for high capacity applications, these channels have a smooth, low-absorption interior that speeds water transportation and can be cleaned out regularly to avoid blockages.
Zurn’s Hi-Cap slot drains are available in 6 sizes: 4”, 6”, 8”, 12” 18” and 36”. Slot widths vary from ½” in the 4” diameter drain to 1.75” in the 36” drain. Slot frames are available in ductile iron and steel. Grating options are also available for those times when pedestrian traffic will be encountered. In-line cleanout sections, with removable grates, can be installed to help in the maintenance of the drain.

Zurn Specialty Cast Iron Trench Drains
Zurn has two cast iron bodied modular trench drain systems that are part of their Specification Drainage products.
Zurn’s Z665 is a 12 inch wide drain that is supplied in 12” long modular units that bolt together to make a drain to your desired length. Modular sections with bottom outlets let you easily determine your discharge location. Outlets are available for pipe sizes ranging from 2” to 6”. Z665 is used in applications where heavy duty drainage systems are required, such as military equipment maintenance facilities.
Zurn’s Z667 is the 6 inch wide version of the same drain. This is considered a medium duty drain but still has a rugged construction. The modular units in the Z667 are 15 inches long and bolt together so you can make the drain as long as you like. Bottom outlet sections are also 15” long but only are available for 3” and 4” diameter pipe.

Zurn Polyethylene Oil Separator
If you have a construction project that requires a trench drain for inside the building (garage, fire station, paint shop), quite often an oil-water separator is part of the design for that system. Zurn’s Z885 oil separator products can be used in these situations.
Zurn’s Z885 oil separators are made from dual polyethylene tanks capped with a steel frame and medium duty access panels. The system capacity ranges between 70 and 350 gallons. The footprint of the system is approximately 3 ft x 6 ft for the dual tank system. Add more tanks to extend the capacity and efficiency of your system.
