Zurn Industries is part of the water management division of Rexnord Holdings LLC, a world class manufacturer and marketer of power transmission and water management products. Zurn Industries was originally founded in 1900 in Erie, PA. When the company began, the only product it manufactured was a patented backwater valve. Today, the company is a recognized industry leader with a complete line of over 4000 plumbing and radiant heat products.
One of Zurn’s four primary business units is the Specification Drainage Products, which includes the Flo-Thru Trench Drain systems. The Flo-Thru product line has the widest variety of trench drain and utility duct systems offered in the world. Zurn’s Flo-Thru products are segmented by channel construction materials such as HDPE (Perma-Trench), Fiberglass (Flo-Thru) and stainless steel (Sani-Flo). Cast iron channels and frame-and-grate systems are also available. Zurn’s trench drain systems have a broad assortment of 6" wide and 12" wide grating options which are interchangeable between the channel brands and with load classes ranging from A to F. With structural integrity, chemical resistance, and easy installation, the drains are especially useful in commercial and industrial applications.
